From elegant noble palaces (dominated by vault plays) to rural dwelling houses: farms and "Trulli". For example, Farms maintain their architectural lines, towers, perimeter walls in stone, but transformed in luxurious dwelling houses. There are intact structures, as the materials, that do not follow only the herringbone kilometres walls, in real stone (that enclose and frame beautiful gardens and that interlace in the country-sides between the vine/olive lines), but also follow one of the most spectacular resource: the Lecce stone. Lecce stone peculiarity consists on its own working malleability: the example is represented by the precious and tangled laces of baroque realizations, and after this they harden in future.
Very squared bulks are modelled with sledgehammer and chisel (but, certainly, today also with the very modern equipment) in order to create edifices that are elegant but also rustic dwelling houses.
This amber-coloured stone (that is famous all over the world) is very required from an international point of view, for villas and elegant houses building. Its peculiarity consists on working malleability: we can mention for example baroque precious and tangled laces (and they harden in the time). Perfectly squared bulks are modelled by chisel and sledgehammer (but today also by the use of modern equipment), in order to build elegant edifices, but also rustic dwellings.

It is a porous fined-grained mixture, with a lot of sea fossils that mean an indissoluble link between man and land.

That is to say a stone that talks about Salento history, that shows its vicissitudes itinerary, from menhir to roman buildings and moreover Norman and Swabia castles, the sumptuousness of baroque Church worship. Magnagrecia S.r.l. would like to present itself as the keeper of this historical itinerary (without breaking it), making a today revival for this kind of “charm” that has not a time (but, in the meantime, maintaining intact their deep institution). It is a bearer of values, as preservation and rebirth, it offers a lot of very competitive materials (from a world-wide point of view), as, for example, the Lecce stone (that offers very exclusive solutions for building industry).
